How to machine a quilt and what do I need

l am making a quilt. l am hoping to make a quilted playmat for DD measuring 
Shrek
1.5 x 2m. Can l do this width on my home machine?

Fleece is a knit and your face fabric is a woven. you may run

into issues with this --- if so, consider using the bartack or a similar

With the equipment you have you could even do a King size quilt

I would use quilting thread on both the bobbin and threading. They are

I made nap mats for my grandsons and quilted their names into the middle  
of the mats. This was for their nursery school. I just spread the fabric  
out on the floor and using chalk wrote their names very very large over  
the face of the mats then stitched them.
